I do echo the above replies though, a good LED driven scanner (i.e. Certainly not the $100-$200 for the rebadged units. I wouldn't pay any more than $40 for a 2.0MP, and half that for a 1.3MP. So they aren't genuine microscopes at all. The only real difference is the camera (specifically the sensor), which are actually bog standard webcams with a macro lens attached. Some have 4 LEDs for lighting, some have 12. Some sellers fudge the data, claiming to sell 5 Megapixel models, but that's interpolated images which won't look any better when enlarged than the 2.0MP model. There are essentially two models, a 1.3 Megapixel, and 2.0 Megapixel. You're better off looking for "USB Microscope" on auction sites or HK websites. The ones sold by reputable companies (which I won't name!) are all rebadged Chinese models, with a healthy profit added for the logo printed onto the side of the unit.
